We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic website analytics. We use it to reply to you and do the work you ask for. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
Information you send us
When you use a form on our site, such as the contact form, the free copy request, the plugin-fix form, or another request form, we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, message, your website address, and any other details you choose to include. Those messages are delivered to our team by email through an email delivery service (Resend).
Alabama Web Score
If you submit a business to the Alabama Web Score, we store the business name, website address, city, industry, and, if you provide one, your email address, in our database so we can score the site and follow up.
Website preview tool
If you use our website preview tool, we receive the website address you enter. We read the publicly available content of that site and use an artificial intelligence service to help build the preview. The preview and related details are stored in our database.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out tools.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages and requests
- To provide the services you ask for, and to quote, schedule, and invoice them
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To protect the site from spam and abuse
Who handles your information
We rely on a few service providers to run the site: Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for our database, Google for analytics, and an artificial intelligence provider for the preview tool. They process information on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Tech help and lessons
If you book tech help and lessons, see Part A of our terms for how we handle what we see during a session and our rules on recordings. In short, we do not copy, keep, or share what appears on your screen, and we do not record unless you agree first.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to reply to you, do the work, keep business records, and meet legal obligations. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through our contact page and we will respond.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
